SAUL for the Gibson family--Liberty Township, OH
The Gibsons been married for 17 years. Barry works as a conductor for the railroad. Holly is a stay at home childcare provider. They have one daughter (age 11) who was adopted domestically at birth.
They had spoken about adoption before they got married and planned on having one biological child and then adopting. After many years trying to have a baby, Holly was diagnosed with Endometriosis. Six years after they got married they were blessed with a beautiful baby through adoption. Barry & Holly always knew they would like to adopt again someday, and Ashley was really wanting a brother or sister. About a year ago, Holly began researching international adoption and she was led to Reece's Rainbow through another website and instantly knew this is where there next child was.
God has placed the desire in their hearts to adopt a child with Down syndrome and he led them to a little boy from Hong Kong. They fell in love with his picture, his smile could light up a whole room and the sparkle in his eyes... they knew that God just led them to their son.
This will be a leap of faith for Barry and Holly as this will be their first international adoption. They believe that God has chosen them to bring this precious child home and are very blessed to be able to so. Barry and Holly are thankful for all your prayers and financial support through this journey.
