Voice of Hope Fund

Reece's Rainbow is a totally non profit organization. We function solely on private donations to fund the monthly operational expenses that we have. At this time, we do not have any corporate funding, so we are completely dependent on the generous gifts of our families and sponsors to help us with these rising costs.

Donations to this fund help us with critical operational and marketing/advertising expenses. It doesn't feel as warm and fuzzy as donating for a child's grant fund, but it is much needed!

In only three years, the growth of Reece's Rainbow has been explosive! In June 2006, we started with only 5 children in one country. As of June 2009, we now advocate for almost (200) children in (32) countries! We have found families for (190) children, and work diligently to meet the needs of those families throughout their adoptions.

Your contribution makes it possible for us to continue serving adoptive families and orphans with Down syndrome around the world. These funds support such efforts as:

• Postage 
• Office supplies 
• Printed materials, such as business cards and brochures 
• Paypal fees (almost $400 a month!) 
• Advertising/web presence 
• Web hosting 
• Reasonable compensation for leadership team and key staff:   Running fundraisers, attending Down syndrome events, working with new families, dossier preparation, locating new children, building new agency partnerships, accounting and tax preparation, grant proposals, meeting with foreign officials to expand our relationships and seek greater cooperation and partnership for our children 
• Outreach projects and special opportunities for orphan therapy and birth family support groups 
• Other emergency discretionary needs
