One parent returns in one month, for 5 days

Married, hetero couples only

Parents must be no more than 45 years older than child

Child must become youngest in family

No previous divorces permitted

Normally, Poland is a difficult country to adopt from because of a very long travel requirement, and their preference for people of a Polish, Catholic heritage.  But for the special needs orphans in Poland, a special agreement has been reached whereby both parents travel for only two weeks, and then one month later, one parent returns for about 5 days to complete the adoption and bring the child home.   The requirements for being Polish and Catholic do not apply.

Poland is a beautiful country, with a rich history and incredible FOOD.  Adopting from Poland will be an enjoyable visit, and an opportunity to actually take a vacation and see some of the historical places and monuments.
