Moldova

Moldova is a small country that sits between Ukraine and Romania. It actually used to be a part of Romania pre-World War II. After the war, a small part of Romania was given to Russia. After 1989, Moldova became it's own country which has an influence of Russian and Romanian to this day. Both languages are spoken in the country. The children are mostly Caucasian, with blonde hair and blue eyes, but occasionally there are children that have darker skin, hair and eyes.  The capital of Moldova is Chisinau (pronounced Kishinev).    Your exit visa will be processed at the US Embassy in Bucharest, Romania.

Children with Down syndrome are readily available for adoption from Moldova.   Please stay tuned for more information weekly regarding the children and this wonderful program.  This is another historical opportunity to be the first families to adopt children with Down syndrome from Moldova!
