Saul has been taken care of by his present foster home since August 2008.  The placement is very stable and he has developed a strong bonding with his foster family. 

Saul enjoys normal vision and hearing.  He is a happy and adorable child who likes to give his big smiles often.  He has been very responsive in playing and his interaction with others.  He babbles a lot and enjoys listening to music.  Saul maintains stable and good sleeping habits.  He sleeps well throughout the night and nap time.  He enjoys eating and has good appetite.  He is easy to be fed.  For diet, Saul has full-formula milk and can finish a bottle of 8 oz. every time.  Moreover, he has congee in regular meals and likes bread particularly. 

Saul shows remarkable progress in his motor development.  Having physiotherapy once every week, his development is satisfactory.  A few months ago, he could roll his body and turn to the sides in his bed easily.  Currently, he gets up from a lying to the sitting position keeping his back straight.  He has strong tendency to stand while holding onto the furniture.  He also enjoys crawling and moving around in his walker.   Saul can also hold and grasp well with his hands.  He is using his index fingers a lot such as pressing the button and turning his toys. 

Saul was born full term by normal delivery with a birth weight of 2.6 kg.  At present, he has 7.7 kg in his weight and 73 cm in his height.  He has generally a small body build.  Medically, Saul is suffering from ventricular septal defect and atrial septal defect of moderate size.  His condition is stable under daily medication and regular follow-up in the pediatric (cardiac) units.  Saul has also bilateral syndactyly of his 3rd and 4th fingers and is followed up in the orthopedic clinic too.
