Our partner in the  Republic of Georgia is Hopscotch Adoptions.  The country of  Georgia (not the US state of Georgia) is located in central Asia, and is bordered by such countries as Azerbaijan, Russia, and Turkey.  The climate is similar to the southeastern section of the United States. The terrain is mountainous and often lush, as evidenced by the beautiful sea sides and stunning views from every city vista.   Georgia is the second nation to adopt Christianity as the national faith. St. Nino brought Christianity to  Georgia in 317 AD.  The primary Church is the  Georgian Orthodox Church.    Georgians are spiritually and physically beautiful people with creamy fair to dark olive complexion, dark hair and dark eyes.

In the spirit of giving voices to those children in places little known to the rest of the world, Reece's Rainbow is proud to bring these children to our adoptive families.   This is one of our more costly programs, but we have worked passionately to negotiate fee reductions and grants to defray these costs. 

The Republic of Georgia is a HAGUE country.  This means that a Hague accredited adoption agency must be used t complete an adoption.  Independent adoptions are not possible.

The Republic of Georgia does not allow the photo listing of it's waiting children.  However, there are many available with Down syndrome and other special needs.  If you meet the country requirements listed above and would be interested in learning more about these beautiful children, please contact us.
