Ethiopia's children are absolutely stunning, and the adoption process from this country is very easy and rather inexpensive.  Only one parent must travel, and only for one week.  Escorts are also available so no travel is required at all! 

Poverty, disease and war have left a large number of children without parents. Children with Down syndrome and other disabilities are available for immediate placement after their dossier is approved by Ethiopia's Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.    Babies as young as 1 month are available.  All children are examined by doctors in Addis Ababa and are tested for HIV, hepatitis and TB. Parents will receive a complete child study which includes all medical information, legal documentation and proof of orphan status, photos and a video. The in-country facilitators will have spent time with your child and will provide updates and new photos during your adoption process.
